5th Match IPL-10 RCB vs DD

In fifth match of Vivo IPL-10 Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Delhi Daredevils by 15 runs with the help of brilliant batting skills of Kedar Jadhav and a good display of bowling skills in the end of the innings. Batting first Royal Challengers Bangalore didn’t start that well as they would have anticipated. They lost Chris Gayle early who scored only 6 runs. Shane Watson and Mandeep Singh were also under pressure and they score runs with runner balls. Watson made 24 runs of 24 balls and Mandeep scored 12 runs of 10 balls. Then the Kedar Jadhav show started who scored briskly and made 69 runs off 37 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes. But in the end Delhi did pull it back with regular wickets and restricted RCB to a total of 157 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Batting second Delhi did have their moments as they were with the run rate but they kept loosing wickets on regular intervals and that cost them in the end as they ended up 15 runs short what was set them to achieve. Only Rishab Pant could play freely who made 57 runs off 36 balls. In later part of innings Pant was made to stand at non strikers end and the run rate kept rising. In last over he tried to hit one out of the ground and lost his wicket. Other player did let the fans down by not giving strike to him.

It was a good match and Kedar Jadhav really deserved to be man of the match. Congratulations to RCB and Kedar Jadhav.
