In 10th match of Vivo IPL-10 2017 Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 4 wickets with the help of brilliant display of bowling skills by Jasprit Bumrah. Batting first Sunrisers did start well and steady as openers put up a 81 runs stand for the first wicket. David Warner scored 49 off 34 balls and Shikhar Dhawan made 48 off 43 balls. But once they got out no batsman was able to reach two figure mark except Ben Cutting who scored 20 runs off 10 balls. Tight bowling by Jasprit Bumrah left Sunrisers way behind their desired target and they finished 158 for 8 in their respective 20 overs.

Batting second Mumbai batsmen chipped in with some crucial but small partnership and they were at 111 for 4 in 13.4 overs when Krunal Pandya joined in form batsman Nitish Rana.
