In 46th match of Vivo IPL 2016 Sunrisers
Hyderabad defeated Kings XI Punjab by 7 wickets. Batting first Punjab batted
really well to put up a total of 179 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20
overs. Hashim Amla batted really well for his 96 runs off 56 balls and he put
up partnerships with Murali Vijay, Wridiman Saha and Gurkeerat Maan which
helped Punjab reach a total of 179 runs. Wridiman Saha scored 27 runs off 23
balls and Gurkeerat Maan scored 27 runs off 20 balls. In the end it was Miller
who scored 20 runs off 9 balls and gave Punjab a healthy total. Batting second Sunrisers
got a good start when their openers scored 68 runs on 8 overs. David Warner
scored 52 runs off 41 balls and Shikhar Dhawan scored 25 runs off 22 balls.
Deepak Hooda also made a valuable contribution of 34 runs in 22 balls. But the
show belonged to the real hero of India: Yuvraj Singh. He scored 42 unbeaten
runs of 24 balls and put up a match winning partnership of 41 runs off 22 balls
to see his team over the line. Hashim Amla was named match of the match his 96
