Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders match 8

In eighth match of IPL season 9 Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets. Things started well for Kolkata in bowling as they wrapped up top 3 Sunriser’s batsmen for 36 runs within 6 overs. Umesha Yadav and Morne Morkel kept it tight and also got three top batsmen of Hyderabad for so cheaply. Things were looking even worst when they were 50-4 in 9.4 overs. Then Eoin Morgan and Naman Ojha came together to steady the ship. They played well and took their team to a respectable total. Eoin Morgan scored 51 of 43 balls and Naman Ojha played a good hand of 37 runs from 28 balls. In second Innings the total was always a small for Kolkata batting lineup and adding to that Robin Uthapa and Gautam Gambhir gave Kolkata a rolicking start of 92 runs in 12.3 overs. Robin Utthapa scored 38 runs off 34 balls and Gambir played a brisk innings of 90 runs off 60 balls assuring his team to take over the line by remained unbeaten on that score. It was Kolkata bowlers who restricted Sunrisers to 142 and then a brilliant show of batting by two openers of Kolkata especially by Gambhir. This match was also one sided match and no real thrill was there. Still a woth watching one as Gautam Gambhir played really well for his unbeaten 90 runs. I am hoping for some tight finishes.
