In 35 th match of Vivo IPL-9 2015 RCB defeated RPS by 7
wickets with a blistering knock of 108 unbeaten off 58 balls by Virat Kohli.
Batting first Pune lost their first wicket in third over of the match. But then
a partnership of 106 runs for second wicket put them in a good position and
they went to made on a daunting total to chase for RCB of 191 runs. Ajinkya
Rahane batted well for his 74 runs off 48 balls and Ssaurabh Tiwary scored 52
runs off 39 balls. Batting second RCB got just the perfect start they needed as
their openers put up a stand of 94 runs for first wicket. KL Rahul got out for
38 runs off 35 balls and AB was also dismissed for 1 run. Then came Shane
Watson and he scored quick 36 runs off 13 balls and in the end it was Kohli
show who was unbeaten on 108 runs and took his team over the line. It was a
brutal batting display by Kohli and Watson which brought the victory for
Banglore team. Virat Kohli named as man of the match for his knock of 108 runs
but I wished if the man of the match should be declared someone else who bowled
well and also batted really well. It was Shane Watson show.
