Delhi Daredevils vs Kolkata Knight Riders Match-26

In 26^th match of Vivo IPL 2016 Delhi Daredevils defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 27 runs. Batting first Delhi didn’t start well and they lost three top order batsmen for 32 runs in first 5 overs. Then 105 runs partnership between Karun Nair and Sam Billings brought Delhi back in the match. In the end it was Carlos Braithwate who took over and scored brisk 34 runs off just 11 balls and took Delhi score to 186 for 8 wickets in their quota of 20 overs. Batting second Kolkata was never in the hunt and they kept losing wickets on regular intervals. Only Robin Uthhapa could stay at the crease who scored 72 runs off 52 balls and second best contribution came from SuryaKumar Yadav which was 21 runs off 13 balls. Delhi bowlers kept it tight till the end by picking up wicktes. It was once again Carlos Braithwate show who picked up 3 crucial wickets although went for plenty. He was named man of the match for his all round performance with the bat and ball. Some great cricket is being played by Delhi this year and hope they will do best in the future.
