Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rising Pune Supergiants Match-22

Finally some luck came to Pune Supergiants way when they defeated Hyderabad by 34 runs by D/L method. Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl first. Rain interrupted the start of the match. But when the match started the things started as Ms Dhoni had desired for. They got David Warner in very first over of the match. Then they never looked back and kept of picking wickets on regular intervals. On the other hand Shikhar Dhawan did play well to take his team to a respectable total but none of other players gave him company on the crease. Pune bowlers put pressure on each batsman of Hyderabad and they could not handle that pressure and lost their wickets for cheap runs. They could only manage 118 runs in their 20 overs. It was job well done by Pune bowlers. Only Shikhar Dhawan played well for his unbeaten 56 runs of 53 balls. Second best contribution came from Bhuvneshwar Kumar who scored 21 runs off 8 balls later in the innings. But the total was still the moddest one. Ashok Dinda bowled well for his 3-23 figures. Batting second Pune Supergiants lost Ajinkya Rahane in the fist over but thanks to the 80 runs stand for second wicket between Faf Duplesis and Steven Smith which made sure that Pune could seal the victory. Faf Duplesis made 30 off 21 and Steven Smith scored unbeaten 46 runs off 36 balls. At the end of 11^th over Pune were 94-3 when rain again and match was given to Pune by D/L method by 34 runs. Ashok Dinda was named man of the match for his 3-23 bowling figures who made Sunrisers stop at the score of 118 only. Good match but one sided one again. We want more tight finishes. Enjoy…
