Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Match 14

In 14th match of IPL 9 Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Banglore by 6 wickets. Batting first Banglore batted well and their openers gave them a good start of 32 runs in 3.5 overs. After the first wicket fall, things became quick for RCB as Develliers and Kohli added 61 runs off 39 balls. Five batsmen from top six had got start but none of them could convert it to 5- or 60 runs innings and their innings total was restricted to 170 runs. Jaspreet Bumrah, Krunal Pandya and Tim Southee bowled tight spells. Batting second the start for Mumbai was not so good as they lost their opener Parthiv Patel on first ball of second over of the second innings. Then Rohit Sharma and Ambati Raydu made 76 runs stand for second wicket and in later part of innings it was Butler and Pollard show who made 28 off 14 and 40 off 19 respectively to see them through. As always once again Banglore bowling is proven to be the weaker part of their team and they most likely to lose because of their bowling. They give Mumbai batsmen freedom to hit them and the likes of Pollard and Butler are not going to miss that opportunity. Rohit Sharma was named man of the match for his 62 runs off 44 balls.
