Kings XI Punjab vs Rising Pune Supergiants match 10

In 10^th match of IPL season 9 Kings XI Punjab beat Pune Supergiants with 6 wickets. It was a straight loss for Captain MS Dhoni. Batting first Pune lost their opener Ajinkaya Rahane earlier and then Kevin and Duplesis made 55 runs valuable partnership but then things were tightened by some brilliant bowling by Punjab bowlers. They gave nothing easy to Pune batsmen and restrict them to 152 for 7 in their 20 overs. Faf Duplesis played well for his 67 runs but he was slow in scoring runs. Nevertheless score was a compatible one for Pune bowlers. But Punjab openers had some other idea and they took charge over Pune bowlers and scored 97 runs partnership for the first wicket. Murali Vijay scored 53 off 49 balls and Manan Vohra scored 51 off 33 balls. Murugan Ashwin brought Pune right back in the match by picking up three quick wickets but it was Punjab’s day as their most dangerous batsman clicked on the day. Glenn Maxwell arises with 32 off 14 balls and achieved the target before 8 balls to be bowled in total quota of 20 overs. Manan Vohra named man of the match for his quick 52 in 33 balls. Good match as I am supporter of Punjab team but I would still want some tight finishes. There is nothing one match that have ended in nail biting position. Keep watching for more entertainment.
