Gujarat Lions vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Match-19

In 19^th match of IPL 9 Gujarat Lions defeated Royal Challengers Banglore by 6 wickets. Batting first with Kohli’s blistering 100 of 63 balls Banglore put up a total of 180 runs in their 20 overs. Kohli played really well and he scored his maiden t20 hundred in IPL on the very last ball of last over of the match by hitting a four to Dwayne Bravo. It was the moment for him to live forever. Lokesh Rahul gave him good company and he scored a handy and quick 51 runs off 43 balls and put up a partnership of 121 runs for the third wicket and they remained unbeaten. But batting second Gujarat Lions started well and openers made 47 runs stand for the first wicket and another second wicket 40 runs partnership was added very quickly.  For the third wicket Raina and Dinesh Karthik made 53 runs then Karthik and Jadeja made 38 runs partnership for the fourth wicket. Smith and McCullum scored 32 off 21 and 42 off 24 respectively. Then Raina played his part with 28 off 24 balls but it was Dinesh Karthik who took them over the line with his well made 50 unbeaten off 39 balls. Although being on the losing side Banlore’s captain Virat Kohli was named as man of thye match for his entertaining knock of 100 runs off 63 balls. It was a good contest between bat and bowl. But as always Banlore once again lost the match due to some indisciplined bowling. Looking for better bowling performances from Banglore’s Bowlers.
