In a thrilling contest between Mumbai Indians and Chennai
Super Kings, Chennai Super Kings emerged victorious by 1 wicket. From the very
start Chennai bowlers took over the control. But some superb batting by
Suryakumar Yadav(43 off 29 balls) and Ishan Kishan(40 of 29 balls) in middle
overs and by Krunal Pandya(41 off 22 balls) in late overs help Mumbai reach a
score of 165. Dwayne Bravo's(0-24 in 4 overs) exceptional bowling restricted
Mumbai to score even big.
In reply Chennai were down under until the 17th over(118-8
in 16.3 overs) where Dwayne Bravo(68 off 30 balls) decided enough is enough and
he took Chennai's total to 159 at the end of 19th over before he got out. In
the final over Chennai required 5 runs to win with last wicket at the crease. With
the help of some sensible batting by Kedar Jhadhav(24 off 22 balls) they
eventually manage to score those runs and wins the match by 1 wicket. Hardik
Pandya(3-24 in 4 overs) and Markande(3-23 in 4 overs) bowled really well for
Mumbai but all goes in vain.
Undoubtedly Dwayne Bravo deserved to be man of the match.
