Mumbai Indians vs Rising Pune Supergiants

In the very first match of this year’s edition of IPL, The new franchise team Rising Pune Supergiants defeated the defending champions Mumbai with 9 wickets. Ajinkaya Rahane was named match of the match for that match for his 66 of 47 balls. Mumbai was restricted to moddest total of 121 and that was the easiest to chase for the team which have the players like Rahane and MS Dhoni. With the likes of Kevin Peterson it was the moddest in reality. Mumbai playing first lose early wickets and then they never came out of those early blows and kept on losing wickets on regular intervals. Harbhajan singh alone played a good hand and gave Mumbai’s total a sense of respectability with his 45 of 35 balls. But the Rising Pune Supergiant’s batting lineup got that very easily. They played it through the fifteen overs and that was done.
