Gujarat Lions vs KXIP

In the third match things started differently than the previous two matches of the tournament. KXIP batting first once looked to reach 200 when openers gave them a brilliant start. But in the middle overs Jadeja and Bravo pulled it back for the Gujarat Lions. They kept it tight by getting wickets and not giving anything loose to the batters from which they could score and restrict Punjab team to 161 which was still a compatible score. Things started good for Gujarat Lions as their both openers went off to a rocking start and they never looked back. They score at a rapid speed. Aaron Finch and Brendon McCullum both were matching each other. But Finch having the more of the strike and he played some lovely shots. They just destroy all the plans of KXIP to get back in the match. By the time Brendon was out it was too late to come back in the match for Punjab. Aaron Finch played 74 runs innings off 47 balls and he was named man of the match. This looked like a tight match at first but in the end Gujarat Lions won this one very easily in 17.4 overs.
